I"m pitching my tent

the sun is back
I'm pitching my tent next week in Corfu
Why is it that for about two weeks it all seemed impossible, too much, overwhelming, difficult,

and today it is possible, beautiful, challenging
maybe because spring is here
maybe because time heals
flowers look to me as if they are praying.this year
we had national independence day today. And I live in a real village. we even have a village fool.he is, of course, the gravedigger.I was thinking about identity. and myth. and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and why. and how they are untouchable, sometimes.

Each day brings new hope - and with spring perhaps you'll see the growth we all need right now.

Mmm, lovely. I know just what you mean about not being able to do something yesterday, but today it is possible. I was JUST speaking with my overwhelmed students about this.... to look at the list, and see what one CAN do that day, then the next day, one might find that an impossible task from yesterday is totally doable today.... its strange, but that's how it is for me!

Corfu is lovely. KALO TAXIDI!

Thank you for the view of the lovely garden. It is barely happening here yet, and I so need the hopeful colors. I find that telling fewer stories of who I am leaves room to be who I am.

Hope you have pitched your tent this week. Hope you have a great time. Yes the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and why... not only untouchable, but sometimes without foundation or truth!
