I've seen the first video several times, and yet watched it again. It never occurred to me that there was no washing. I thought this phase just wasn't recorded. I suppose it is well washed when (if?) rain falls on the yurt. The second video is instructive regarding the mother felt being overlayered with new wool. I wondered what could be done to prevent felting of the whole mass together since there was no "muslin or other netting". Now I know. Thank you for posting.
